Green Warmth is born!

Green Warmth Ltd incorporated by Paul and Michele Bromley who had the vision to install renewable heating across Pembrokeshire based from their home they started a blueprint of energy efficient renewable solutions and became MCS accredited.

2007

Working closely with manufacturers

Green Warmth starts on-boarding heat pump suppliers working closely with manufacturers to identify efficient reliable renewable products.

2009

Green Warmth recruits

Green Warmth starts to employ staff with recruitment support from the current owner Jason Tomlin. Michele and Paul identify offices based at Unit10 Withybush Trading Estate and open a showroom showcasing heat pumps, solar panels and Biomass.

2011

Green Warmth is 5 years old

Ryan Thomas and Gary Phillips join the engineering team. Following on from successful plumbing careers they set about training to become Renewable Heating Engineers. Green Warmth has now been established for 5 years!

2013

Office team expands

Gemma Edwards joins the office team supporting MCS compliance and customer service working closely with Michele and Paul Bromley.

2013

Biomass Boilers

Green Warmth becomes established with the rise in demand for Biomass Boilers the RHI (Renewable Heating Incentive) delivers some rapid growth for the business

2014

Green Warmth is 10 years old

10 years old in August 2017, Green Warmth is now installing renewables across 3 Counties installing Heat Pumps, Solar Thermal, Underfloor heating, MVHR, Biomass, Woodburners and Solar PV.

2017

Some big company changes

Some big company changes, Green Warmth sold to local Pembrokeshire based husband and wife team Jason and Victoria Tomlin.

After 13 years of running the business Paul and Michele handover the business to focus on their other successful business BeGreen (Wales) Ltd a UK renewable distributor supplying heat pumps to installers like Green Warmth.

For over 10 years Jason Tomlin had supported Green Warmth recruiting in many of the current teams so the transition was a smooth one and had run his own successful businesses for over 12 years. In 2014 he was voted Pembrokeshire Business Person of the Year.

Victoria had come from a successful teaching career and had a previous career in Environmental Science, graduating with a degree in Environmental Science in 1999. Victoria went on to work as an Environmental Consultant for Thames Water before becoming a Project Engineer in Brisbane Australia.

2020

Green Warmth invests in new apprentices

Green Warmth invests in new apprentices within its renewable heating team. The website has an overhaul and the business invests in a new IT and CRM system.

Iwan and Fiona join the team to support service, maintenance and heat pump installations.

2021

Green Warmth is 15 years old

Another government RHI incentive scheme closes and is replaced by the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) which provides grants for £5,000 and £6,000 to support heat pump installs.

The cost of energy skyrockets and another Solar PV boom with battery storage takes place.

Green Warmth invest in an in-house electrician – Mark Wilson joins the team.

2022

The journey continues….

Green Warmth invests in an apprentice electrician Cameron Matthews to support Mark installing Solar PV, Battery Storage and EV chargers.

New website launches in August 2023 and a total new marketing rebrand!!

After 10 years of the GW flame the business has now moved to a GW leaf as we no longer install fossil burning renewables (Biomass / Woodburners).
